MIG Night Course

GMAW, commonly known as "MIG" welding, is an extremely versatile process for joining metal. For those people looking for a comprehensive training program in MIG welding, we offer a 10 session evening course that runs on Tuesdays and Thursday nights from 6:00 – 9:00. This night class is a combination of lecture and hands-on practice. Our brand-new facility boasts 16 welding stations with state-of –the-art MIG welding machines, a large area for project lay-out, and is climate controlled and well ventilated. Students will also have access to TIG and Stick welders, Plasma cutters, and a variety of other metal shop equipment. Our instructors are both knowledgeable and motivated to teach you the basics of MIG welding. This class is designed for beginners, and those people who have been MIG welding awhile but want to take their skills to the next level. Upon completion, students will be familiar with safety, equipment, equipment set up, setting the machine for the material to be welded, and proper welding techniques.

Tuition includes everything needed to successfully complete the program, but some students may want to purchase additional supplies or materials for projects. Both are available next door at Mahany Welding Supply.
